We have all heard the phrase: "He who fails to plan is planning to fail". The simple truth is, this is exactly what most business owners do in the inflatable entertainment industry. They fail to plan.

Let's make sure your not one of them, you deserve better, so let's get to work.

Too often when we hear the word plan, our minds picture complicated schematics or in depth 50 page business growth strategies.

* RELAX * and take a deep breath, simple is always better.

At one point NASA spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to develop an anti gravity space pen. The Fisher Pen Co. invested over $1 million in the project in the mid 1960's which in today's dollars is approx. $32 million.

While the Russian space program simply used a pencil.

A more modern example is that of Arthur Blank, the co-founder of Home Depot. He and his partner wrote their working business plan for Home Depot on a napkin at Starbucks. That SIMPLE plan made Arthur Blank a billionaire.

In 2002 he purchased the Atlanta Falcons for a reported $545 million from then owner Taylor Smith. Sitting down in Mr. Smith's fancy offices, Arthur Blank pulled out a napkin and started outlining the terms of the deal.

Mr. Smith was quite shocked and asked what the heck he was doing. To this Arthur Blank simply said, I do all my deals this way. SIMPLE.

These two examples are to give you peace of mind... know that the best plans are the ones that you actually Take Action on. The simpler the better.

In my last blog post, I gave you few SIMPLE ideas that you can Take Action on today and massively increase sales. This can be part of your plan.

So let's dial it in and get you some real results.

Step 1:

Get a napkin :) or a piece of paper or dry erase board or dry erase material you can stick on your wall ($30 on amazon). The idea is that your simple plan is going to be posted somewhere. In your office, on your fridge, you bathroom mirror, somewhere that you see it every day.

Step 2:

Write two things you're going to do this month with a little check box by each.

For example:

  • Mail out 20 thank you/ask for referral letters to my last 20 customers
  • Sign up for email subscriber list service and send my database one e-mail

Step 3:

Repeat the process next month. Use the same ideas or new ones.

That's It!

I told you this was simple : ) Take Action on this and watch your business flourish like never before.
